What You Need to Do

Want to spend a few months living the dream and working for us? We spend our off-season looking for all-stars to add to Everwood’s team, and we’re currently filling out our squad for the summer of 2018. Please be aware that spots fill up quickly, so if you’d like to try out for our roster, there’s no time like the present to start the process.

Here is an overview of the steps to becoming an Everwood Camp Counselor:

  1. Explore our website. The About Us and Staff sections are a good place to start–they’ll familiarize you with the culture of our community and what we expect out of our counselors.
  2. If you think you’re up for the challenges–and rewards–of a summer at Everwood, we encourage you to review our available job postings (posted on both summerjobs.com and schoolspring.com). If you feel that you can satisfy the criteria of one or more jobs, then fill out an Online Application. Please note: all applicants must have finished at least their Sophomore Year of high school (i.e., Rising Juniors) by the beginning of camp this summer and only a limited number of high school applicants will be hired each summer.
  3. Upon receiving your completed application, one of our leadership team will reach out to you promptly. We will let you know if your application makes you a good fit for an interview. While we certainly prefer in-person face-to-face interviews, we are happy to do a Skype (video) interview if that’s not possible.
  4. After your interview we will typically let you know within 2 days of our decision. If selected, there’s only one thing left to do: get ready for the best summer of your life!
